Delete your account and your data

You can delete your Audered account whenever you want, without asking permission or giving reasons. Here are the two ways to do it, and exactly what happens to your data.

From the app, in a minute

  1. Open Audered and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Scroll down to Delete Account, under Actions.
  4. Confirm. There is no undo.

Without the app installed

If you have already uninstalled it, or you cannot get into your account, write to Show email from the same email address you signed up with, asking us to delete your account.

Using that address is how we check the account is yours. If you write from a different one, we will have to ask for some other proof before deleting anything; we do not want anyone deleting someone else's account.

We process it within 30 days at most, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and your sign-in details, in Firebase too.
  • Your name, your email and your profile photo.
  • Your link with your partner, with all your games: the cards in both hands and the history you shared. Your partner keeps their account, and the app tells them you are no longer linked.
  • Any single games you bought and have not started. They are not refunded.
  • Your device token for notifications.

What does not, and why

Backups take a while to expire. Cloudflare keeps a history of the database so it can be restored if something goes wrong, so your data may remain in it for up to 30 days after deletion. Data from before 12 October 2026 also remains in a copy on the server we used before, which we will delete when we shut it down. None of it is used for anything except restoring the service if it breaks.

Whatever the law requires us to keep. If you bought a single game or Audered Plus, the billing records are held by Apple or Google, not us, and are governed by their policies.

Your subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel Audered Plus. Cancel it first from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or the store will keep charging for it.

If you only want to unlink

Deleting your account is not the only way out. From Settings, under Unlink Partner, you can undo the link and keep your account, in case what you want is to start fresh with someone else. Unlinking also deletes your games and the history you shared.
